Macy and Amizcle in 2019, the two have worked together for over 25 years. Amizcle is the “big daddy” of Dolphin Therapy. His potent sonar creates a vibratory quality of deep relaxation.

On the right you can see Dr. Steve relaxing during his first dolphin journey  in 1989.
Macy Jozsef and her late husband Stephen Jozsef, M.D. founded Living From The Heart (LFH) in 1988. In 1987 Macy began swimming with dolphins after a breast cancer diagnosis. Her first encounter with dolphins was life changing. It was the first time since her cancer diagnosis that she "knew everything would be o.k." She was so impacted by her incredible personal experience with dolphins that she realized she had to share this experience with others.

Stephen Jozsef, M.D.

Steve was a psychiatrist and an early pioneer in the field of psychoneuroimmunology. He recognized the power of dolphin therapy immediately. From their inspirations, LFH began. Since LFH’s inception Macy has led over 3,200 people from all over the world in human dolphin therapy. She has organized dolphin and whale experiences in the wild and at various dolphin centers throughout the United States and Mexico. She is a mentor to many and is the beloved “Dolphin Lady”.

Living from the Heart instantly became a part of my heart over 25 years ago when I met Steve and Macy at the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key, Fl. They were just finishing the first Living from the Heart program there and I was, by chance, stopping in to see a savant artist named Alonzo Clemmens.

This serendipitous encounter marked the beginning of many years of sharing our love of dolphins and wanting to help others experience their mysterious affinity and healing for us humans.

"If you wish to experience peace, provide peace for another."

Over the years, life happened.. Steve got cancer and died way too young.. My husband, Bob and I carried on in Florida and Macy went to the west coast of Mexico.. Parents needed help from all of us and then 2 years ago, Bob died from cancer as well.  I had not been able to join Macy in Cozumel until now, 2016. Life opened up and here I am-- helping out again.
